This past Sunday we met up with a few 5th gen Camaro owners and my friend Jon with his 99 T/A in Baltimore for a photoshoot. We originally had 13 cars that were to attend but 10 were no shows. Later we found out 4 had things come up and 6 just never said anything.
Anyway we had one guy who drove all the way from Williamsburg, One from the area and one was Connecticut who happened to be in Baltimore for a few days. My b/f Tim had just gotten his on Thursday so we just had 4 Camaros there.
Here's a link to all the pics:

Nice shots.
You have to be Michelle from the old SLP forum, correct? The name and that you are in VA rung a bell, then I saw your avatar...

There are no muscle cars in these pictures, as "muscle" cars were originally manufactured in the 60s and 70s.
These are more sports cars, because of the technology and engineering that went into them. For example muscle cars were more straight line cars, mediocre braking and handling, but impressive accelleration and power. These being sports cars because they can corner, brake better than their older brothers, and are more high tech.

Last I saw, this was a photo discussion forum......not a car discussion forum. Thanks to your Google, we all know what ONE person that entered that data thinks. These are the muscle cars of today......regardless of what you think. And if you want to get trivial with it, they aren't sports cars either......they've been referred to as "Pony Cars" since the early 90's.

Diggler!!! Oh gosh I'd forgotten you were on the SLP board. Funny I bring up your car from time to time to TIm because I remember the day you posted pics of it wrecked on that rainy road in NC. Last I saw you though was when I was coming back with the old b/f from the Super Chevy show in Richmond out on the road. How have you been?
Uhhhh yeah I agree with you too on the muscle car definition given. Why was there a disagreement with one of the person complimenting my photos using a word to begin with. Good grief! LOL...

Those are great photos! I have not seen a teal or white 5th gen in person yet. Thanks for the sneak peek!
I hear ya Carpenter.
And regarding the muscle car hoopla, Pontiac and Ford both advertised their Pony Cars to be muscle cars.

OK shots of them, but they could have been much better? #2 & 4 had a lot of potential. You need to have a file of backgrounds you could visit that don't kill the defining highlights in the body of the car.

Beautiful. Really liking the cars in 2 and 4. What was your lighting, if you don't mind me asking?

I miss that car like crazy! Who knows what it would be right now if it were still in my possession. Been good though.....more or less out of the car scene right now, I've got 2 other hobbies to feed. How about yourself?
