Hello,
Has anyone used in a situation where you had two photgraphers shooting from the one AB battery pack (Vagabond II) and two sets of cybersynics on different channels.?
I am shooting this weekend scoccer T&I and will have two teams set up at the same time. I will shoot one group while the second photog will shoot next to me....off the same Vagabond II .
thanks for any advice.

Vegabond should be able to handle 2 lights. In fact, it can handle up to 6-8 flash units.

You won't have any trouble powering the strobes but you may encounter some delays in recycle time. if both photographers are popping at the same time it will slow down the recycle times. It will work but it's far from ideal. Staggering the pops would be better but that's not practical for what you're describing.

with that said I am thinking...we have about 14 teams coming through and about 8-10 kids on each team... might not want to try this in the middle of a shoot... might just go with speed lights on camera...
I know the Vegabond II can handle the flash units but.....2 photogs.??

Hi Joe,
Yeah, I think you'd be asking for trouble. Best bet is for one photographer to use the V2 and the others to use Speedlight's or to have multiple V2's.

TMR,
Yea going to go with your plan.... I will use the V2 and cybersynic's, then the other photog with speed lights, cybersynics on his camera rig.... just feeding the flash batteries.AA's...
If I make any $$$ off this shoot I might have to buy another V2 for furture shoots.
TMR nice work on your site...

Hi Joe,
Keep us posted and let us know how it goes.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm working on my real site but there never seems to be enough time.
BTW, call me Robert or Rob :D

Recycle time issue...when both photogs snap within 1-2 sec. of each other. And issues of battery capacity, when two photogs shoot 1000 shots each.
