Ahhh Jamaica...I would love to be there.

There are more advanced photographers that could probably offer better C&C. But I'll try. The shots aren't bad they show us what we are missing at the moment-sun, sea, sand, culture and all ;). I think the colors and tones need adjusting for a bit more pop. #5 should be taken without the bottle unless you are taking it all in focus or the bottle just in focus. The last one..nice try. I'd love to see more of this perhaps in a tighter angle giving us a sense of length of red along this road with details showing clearly on the first stall.

I’m sure others can offer you something better. You're lucky to go again in Xmas. Enjoy!

I'm looking at them on my BlackBerry. I really like the last one. The others just don't grab my attention. I think it may be related to composition. Maybe the horizon is too centered. Did you use a polarizer?

Hi, here's my feedback.

1) nothing grabs my interest, maybe a different view of the stones that show more of the geometric pattern against the background?

2) the view of the fence isn't too interesting

3) nothing at the end of the walkway to draw interest

4) this one is better as it focuses on something interesting

5) the horizon is not straight, the shot is grainy and the bottle is not in focus (unless that was your intent), you could have shot this a lot tighter to make the bottle the point of interest, or put the bottle in the sand and shot from a low angle to also get the water and horizon

6) This is nice, it makes me hungry

I think you had nice ideas behind all of the shots, it just takes practice practice practice, and that's the fun part :)

Thanks for sharing.

I:lol::lol::lol:

I just found out what a polarizer was about 2 days ago.

All I have is my 40D and a 28-135mm lens.

Thanks for the compliments....

Just wanted to know...when you guys say you need something to grab your attention. Can you give me a example.....

Again thanks for the compliments and like someone said...practice practice practice.

@ Grainy comment - It was probably because my iso was just too high I would believe.

I am trying to get it....

Thanks again and keep them coming everyone.
