I'm not into abstract or surrealism but sometimes an accident happens. I was out for some night photography this past week, got all set up for a bridge shot, and realized my cable release was not releasing. I tried my best to trouble shoot the problem on site but realized it was dark (that night photography thing and all). So I took the gear back to the car for a look under some light. While sitting in the drivers seat I hit the release again and it evidently worked, something I didn't discover until I got home. At any rate, this is the 15 second exposure basically untouched. I like it but then I have some strange tastes. (I continued my shooting using the shutter delay).

Comments and suggestions welcome. Well, comments anyway.

I shot images like these myself (I won't share here to avoid threadjacking your thread) and images like these are beautiful because they're random, unpredictable. We're so used to sharp, usual photos that once in a while, abstracts or fragments give our eyes a breeze of fresh air (not sure if that was the right phrase to use, not a native American).

Thank you for the positive comments, it is a fun style. And it taught me a lesson that, by now, I should know - always have a backup plan. Fortunately I wasn't that far from home so I can go back with operating equipment and this time I'll bring my backup cable.
