Excellent! I've been thinking about starting a thread like this for awhile. I'm glad you did. I will be posting my wonderful Mutts tonight after I get home.
I have 1 purebred mutt and one Shiba/beagle cross.

Great stuff! I like the stories that go along with the photos.

The original post has my boy Elmer. He was a rescue dog from Hurricane Katrina. A friend of mine works for the SPCA and went down to Louisiana after the hurricane. She brought him back with her and told me about him (she knew I was looking for a puppy). I took one look at him and knew he was for me. She found him locked in a bathroom with his mother for nearly 2 weeks with only toilet water to drink and no food. When she found him he was small enough to fly as carry-on luggage back to Buffalo. Now, he's a "robust" aka chunky 110 lbs!

These are my sister's two imps. Zoey on the left is obviously just straight Pug, but Max on the right is a mystery mutt. Everyone always tries to guess, but no one knows for sure. Based on his behavior I think he's part squirrel! LOL!

Mexico, five year old "RezMutt". When asked, I generally just tell people she's a lab mix, although really the only thing lab about her is that she is yellow! :lol:

Marsha, eight years old and what I call an "El Chupacabre", but really I think she may be a chihuahua/shar pei mix. I'm not positive, since she was a shelter refugee.
