Here's one I took of my brother today. I'm going to be doing his senior pictures, so I wanted to get some practice in.

Number 1 is definately the best for me, perhaps consider using some fill flash and metre off the sky to get some drama and colour from the sky in?

I tried using flash, but it kept making the picture overexposed :/

No...I was just trying to catch suspense or something of the sort.

#1, hands down. As part of a group of photos, I think the pose would be fine and don't have an issue with his back. That's assuming there are others showing his handsome face.
