First try at sports

I am very amateur and this was my first try at sports. single A baseball from the field box seats

If you plan to shoot more sports I would suggest you up your shutter speed. 1/500 would be to slow for little league, for these guys you need to be quick. That being said: the horizon line on both shots is off. Thats a quick fix in post. The first one has to much wasted space on the right and the second one suffers from the slow shutter. A little bit of ball blur can look okay but there is way to much here.

Thank you for the feedback. After I got home and checked what I had it was then I realized i should have been shooting at 1/1000 or higher. Silly me got the speeds backwards. 1/500 coming towards or away from me and 1/1000 side to side. ugh

I see what you are saying about too much space on the right on the first picture and you are y right but I sort of like the extra space as (and I'm sure just for me) it seems to show the batters extension in hitting the ball and that the ball will go far.
