Just wondering if anyone has seen these reviews of both the G11 and S90 on a Polish (I think) website. They contian lots of high ISO images and the review go on for a couple of pages (click the następna strona » ) link at the bottom of each review page).

S90: http://www.swiatobrazu.pl/canon_powershot_s90_w_tatrach__pierwsze_zdjecia_te stowe.html

G11:

As someone who has never owned a 'G' camera, from what I've seen of those test images on the Polish website, the image quality of the G10 appears every bit as good as the ones on that review site. Keep ISO 200 or lower and things look ok, but not great. Maybe it's just me but I think I'd be happy with the G10 after seeing those G11 shots. The S90 'appeared to me' a tiny bit worse still.

Of course I guess we need take some test shots or see more reviews before a decision can be made.

Oh my ... G11 at ISO 3200 looks like a bloody oil painting and actually already at ISO400. I was so hoping it would be a lot better. :(

The test photos were taken using pre-production cameras. There are test images taken using a production model of the S90 on DPR now.

Not at all impressive, actually kind of weird like someone has a funny eye for processing.
