Very nicely done. I like them ALL, but the smile on the little Girls face in the first photo really shows how happy She is at the moment, and I see appreciation in Her expression. :D

I want to commend you for taking time to volunteer in helping the street kids. :)
From the pictures, which are great by the way, I can tell the kids are enjoying the time. There is nothing more precious than seeing a smile on a kids face.
Kids and pictures, how can you go wrong.

The first thing. . . you get extra points because you volunteered. Secondly, you got some cool shots of what look like very happy kids.
I'm very impressed. In my book, you get a star for the day. Nice work, and thanks for sharing. I'm sure you are greatly responsible for the smiles on those faces. If no one else thanks you. . . . . . . . . I do.

Beautiful, especially #1, and #3.
If you can tone down the highlights in #2 a little (if you have Photoshop CS the shadow/highlight tool can do wonders), it will be just as magical.
My hats off to you and your friends for what you are doing. Very honourable indeed.

Yes, that looks much better! Now it's a stunning picture imho!
The colour is beautiful, especially the skin tone.
The S/H tool is amazing at bringing out detail where you thought there may be none.
It's especially effective on 16 bit images.
If you shoot Raw, you can regain even more detail with Adobe Camera Raw. Unlike other Raw programs, it can extract detail from any of the colour channels that are not blown out. So even if you, say blow out the highlights on the red and green channels, Adobe Camera Raw can extract the details from the remaining blue channel, and give detail to the highlights that you thought may have been lost.
I often wonder if the S/H tool uses this same technique?
