I've been watching this thread for a while and decided to give HDR a shot. Here's my first attempt at HDR, I've got a few more to post later. Thanks for looking, C&C always welcome.

Thanks for the positive responses! I'm having a lot of fun with this. The workflow was uploading the raw exposures into photomatix and tonemapping. Then a few minor adjustments in GIMP. (If thats what you mean by workflow).

All are very "moody", and very well done.

Excellent because they do not look overdone. I am so over those bright and in your face HDRs. These are great, good work.

Great shots indeed.
Im a fan of the #1. I like how the tree's are striking a "pose" with a nice backdrop.

Very nice images. Can you get that with the free photomatik or do you have the paid for one? I thought I might give it a try this weekend. If I am reading it right, the free one only allows two images. Don't you need at least three?

Thanks guys! DVW, I used the trial photomatix first and as far as i know it's exactly like the paid version. The only difference is the trial puts a watermark on the image.
