Awesome shots. I've got to get over there one day to see this for myself. Gotta love those Tornadoes and Strike Eagles!

Great shots, and you got busted in #6. He's looking right at you. :)

These planes look real similar. One is an Eagle, but what's the single tail version?

The Nav (back seat) in #1 is waving!

Canonloader, the aircraft is a Tornado Gr4.

bored yet? Nope! It's more like envy & frustration that I can't get shots like those here. These are just excellent!

Hi all.

Thanks for the replies, appreciate them all :D.

Just got back from another trip to the hills in the last hour, quiet day with not much in the way of heavy metal but a couple of waves all the same.

Excellent shots. Where exactly is this and are they just training?

Hi.
Yes they are training, this is an area of Wales known as the "mach loop" or "roundabout" to the Eagle drivers.
More info can be found here.

Those are truly amazing, I'm a car guy, but I collected scale airplanes like the Tomcat and the B1 back when I was 12 or something ... these really bring back memories, never had an F15, but they always impressed me.

These shots are tack sharp too, very well done, I'm from Belgium, so taking a trip to Wales should be possible ... I'll now try to convince the wife to take our next vacation over there ... lol.
