Hi all!
I am just getting started in my photography world & while I love it,,, it is a bit messy so I hope you can help me with some questions : ???????

1. Is this the order of starting my website,
a) buy a domain name(s) from a place such as godaddy.com.
b) hire someone to create my website, or downlaod something where I should upload my watermarked images.
c) then will i be prompted to publish my site???

also,

how do you back up your images?
do you use a server where people can order prints?

i really want to create a user friendly website where people can also connect to my blog, and order prints from their or any collection,,, but i feel like as soon as i learn one thing (such a purchasing a domain name), i am all confused on how to then create the website & apply it to the domain name for publishing....???

and FINALLY, is there a way to also include my images for my clients to view online after they are all edited & ready for print, where they can just select the ones they want & order there,,,i have been having endless amount s of meetings trying to figure out which pics they want by looking at the # on the image & then i go home & order & its just a big mess...?

thank you for your time or direction..
jas !

Take things one step at a time!

Its not necessary for you to have a domain name prior to doing anything else. You can apply a domain name to your website at any time.

You might want to do some research into premade yet customizable solutions like Smugmug.

I highly advise learning some coding and designing your site yourself. Its not that hard, really.
