Well my 70-200mm f/4 arrived today and it's cold, overcast and all my flowers are dead... I took this because not much else to take, will post some more when it's nicer outside. Never in my life would I thaught of getting so excited over a lense...lol

I'm in the same boat, just got 2 used L's a few hours ago and completely excited. Can't wait ! Have fun with you new toy !

Thanks everyone...tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day so I think I'll take my daughter and new toy to the animal farm and hopefully get some good shots. Sure is a big difference in the quality of the L lense.

I just got mine last week and hate work even more so now than before. Not enough hours in the day to play with it. Enjoy.

The "L" stands for luxury or low distortion. It also stands for drain the pocketbook....lol

Sure, your definition is basically correct. Actually, there is more involved. L stands for one of the best habits (for your pics) that you can have. And for one of the worst (for your family finance). Being L-aholic is a real drama, from a certain point of view.
