Bob Chandler, the builder of the Bigfoot series of monster trucks, owns a Canon 50D. Chandler brought the original Bigfoot Ford and a 16th-generation truck to the truck jamboree in Indianapolis, one week before a Bigfoot reunion and open house at his shop outside St. Louis.

Trick there was to use the XTi's built-in flash as fill. It helped handle some of the face shadows. Didn't have the heart to ask Chandler to take off the hat, which is there for a reason. :)

You've got some nice photos here. Well done. I remember the first time one of the Bigfoot trucks put a show on here all too well. It was a huge success, but with a few problems when it ended. It was done as part of our annual indoor car show in the late part of winter /very early spring (depending on weather of course). The stadium filled for the show, & the car show emptied in an organized fashion, but when the monster truck event ended everyone from the stadium rushed back into the show area as one mass of people. It was wall to wall people stuck in every isle moving like a very slow river. I had a parts for sale booth & it was insane trying to hear or serve people.

Nice shots. #2 is great - back when monster trucks were real trucks. The current ones are barely related.
