Is there any benefit to shooting 3 RAW files and then taking the +2 exposure in photoshop and making a +4 exposure and taking the -2 and making a -4 exposure so you have 5 files to make an HDR with? Either that or some other similar situations. Since most cameras only shoot 3 AEB shots at a time, why not take your 3 and make 5 or 7 exposures? I hope that makes sense, its late and I'm tired but I've been meaning to ask this. :)

Get different exposures in the camera not by pushing and pulling in post production.
A way to use three shot AEB to get five shots two stops apart:
Set AEB for plus two, zero and minus two.
Set exposure compensation to minus two and shoot a three shot AEB.
Set exposure compensation to plus two and shoot another three shot AEB.
You now have minus four, minus two, plus four, plus two and duplicate zeroes.

man this question is asked a lot
imho, it's all about what look u are going for. I have seen some single raw converson come out better than bracketed shots. There is no answer to this, it's all about the look u want to achieve.
Beware, various methods create more noise than others.

I appreciate your answers. I knew how to get more that 3 exposures, I was just wondering if doing it in post production would give similar results and would be worth doing.
