Hello everyone!

I have absolutely no intention of buying one of these things (way out of my legue) but I'm just wondering what's so different between the 20D and the 1DmkII... What makes that 1DmkII so darn special?

The 1DM2 is a 1 series Pro body, while the 20D is a prosumer model. The 1DM2 shoots over 8 frames a second with a buffer of something like 40 frames vs 5 and a buffer of 24. The 1DM2 is water resistant , d ont get a 20D wet. The crop of the 1DM2 is 1.3 vs 1.6 for the 20D. For a pro sports photographer the 1DM2 is very powerful camera. The 20D is a great camera, but there are significant differences between it and the 1DM2. It is worth twice the price - depends on what you are doing with the camera.
