I've decieded to get myself a Canon iP5000 printer, mainly for printing labels onto CDs and DVDs. I guess I might as well get some paper to go with it, to see how it does for prints. I guess Canon does good paper, can anyone recommend one of these ones?

I prob won't be doing A4 prints much, i'd like to do a few 6*4s, do you just cut the A4 paper down or do you buy it like that? I just want to test it out, see how the CD labels will look before I print to the CD, and maybe do a few test prints before I send photos to a commercial lab.

MP101, Matte Photo Paper, A4, 50 Sheets
PR101, Photo Paper Pro, A4, 15 Sheets
PP101, Photo Paper Plus Glossy, A4, 20 Sheets
GP301, Glossy Photo Paper, A4, 20 Sheets

Thanks for any suggestions :)

I have a Canon i9900 and I use Ilford paper for all sizes, the Canon paper is a little too pricey for me. Just a suggestion............Joe

Thanks Joe. Do you actually buy paper in 6*4 size or whatever size you want, or do you buy big bits and cut it up? I can't get Ilford paper from this supplier, but I can look around for some other type that's cheaper than Canon later.

I find that on my Canon i560 that Epson premium glossy paper works better than Canon paper.
