Hi i have a g10 and shoot raw when im shooting in the surf with my water housing, i just got a sd 16 gb card and was shooting water shots, it worked fine and i could view the photos as i shot, then after about 30 shots it would show me the pic in preview screen just after i took the photo, but then whenever i try to look at them again the qustionmark logo comes up and it says unsupported file type???? when i put the sd card into my computer it has all 150 shots i took, but when i open the shots with canon solution (or whatever the raw software is called that came with the cam), only the first few shots that the cam made vissable to me are visable, the other images just appear as a white window with a x marked through them??? the unvisable files are still 16 mb each but i cannot view them? I did not format the card before i used it, Dont know if that makes a differance to a brand new card, but it is strange the first few shots worked fine then the others didnt.???? Also the sd card is lighter than my 2gb sd cards and the sticker is on wonky, are there such things as fakes? or are they meant to be lighter sd cards.
thanks

nope not yet, cos im hoping theres a way to see my photos that i took(the photos are all there in whte empty boxes, 16 megabie of info per photo. Just cant view them), if i format the card it will wipe the entire card clean wont it?

I would paste the contents of the card into a folder onto my desktop and then format the card in-camera and see if you have problems. You can always paste the desktop files back onto the card.

Format your card frequently and hope for the best.
