Great shots, capturing the intense focus of the player. Why did she do the basket catch? You would think her glove would have been the other way for a high fly or pop up?

What were your settings?

Why did she do the basket catch?
The ball was a short foul pop-up down the right field line. I was behind first base and she was running pretty fast towards me to catch it. I guess she didn't have enough time to get fully under the ball for a traditional catch

What were your settings?
ISO 800, 200 mm, AV Priority f4.0, 1/1250 on second picture. Thanks for the feedback....Don

Great shots. I've been taking a lot of these lately for my daughters softball team. Lots of fun when you get the good ones.

When I saw the first picture, I thought, "why is that soccer player wearing a baseball glove?"

Nice try, but you missed the one shot in between, right before the catch(but that's not easy to capture).
