35/2.4 Flektogon (problems with focussing to infinity, really a shame because I really like this one)

Very simple unscientific play.... set a coupla stuffed animals on my table, beamed a 100 watt equiv flourescent lamp at it, and shot away.

Can you post a couple of pics from Canon lenses of the same scene for comparison? 50mm F1.8 would be interesting with it's 5 or so blades.

If the infinity focus is only slightly out it can be adjusted.

I see from google that there are many designs for the flektogon 35 ..but it's most likely that the infinity adjustment lock screws are hiding under front nameplate ring like most lenses.
If you can get the nameplate unscrewed easily then the the adjustment itself is dead

Ask rdenney for advice.......he's a book of knowledge when it comes to Zeiss and these types of issues!

Doc, Check out these posts I have made in the "Zeiss" thread.

ron chappel, I'm kinda weary of taking the lens apart. Can you link me some schematics? I'm considering just sending it back to get a replacement....

schmoelzel, I have, hehe.
