I usually stand back from trees and try and get the whole thing in the frame. Tried something different this time:

I really like this picture.
The colors, the composition... great...

I wish I would go around with your eyes... seeing the things and capture them like you do...

I really like this picture.
The colors, the composition... great...

I wish I would go around with your eyes... seeing the things and capture them like you do...

Wow that is a heck of a compliment - thanks.

When I took this is was also taking a picture of some ivy on a wall (close up) and 4 Japanese tourists came along and looked at what I was doing. As I walked away I noticed they were all photographing the same spot! :D I hope they don't think there was some historical significance to the wall!!

It was very damp - but wet knees are worth it. I must'nt sit on wet grass though - my mum used to tell me it would give me piles - and not money piles!

I heard once on tv about japanese tourists that they have so little time that they shoot everything they see during their holiday without looking, then at home they look at the pictures...

Can any of our fellow japanese photographers confirm this or is that complete rubbish?
