Just got mine today. I can't figure out the best way to configure this bag. i seem to have a lot of unused dividers. do you guys put the lenses with the hoods?

I'm impressed with this bag, i was able to fit every thing in my gear list (except the lights). Does anyone have a picture of how your gear is arranged?

I also can't figure out how to carry the tripod with this bag.

Jerome, here is my set up for TT Airport Security, tripods can be carried on the side, I usually only carry a monopod, but I think there is a little pouch that was included that can be used to carry a tripod. And I to had lots of left over dividers. The only problem I have found is that the pouch in front that can hold a 15" laptop is very tight. I carry my laptop in a Artificial Intelligence 15 and that will not fit. My lights I carry in a Pelican 1650, I also used to keep 6 pocket wizards in the TT AS, but had to make room for the 1D. Enjoy the bag it has saved my back many times over and you just can't beat the TT custumer service.

TT gives you more dividers than you will ever need. Take you time and configure the bag the way you want. Probably the best setup is to have your lenses standing up. This gives you the most space. I found stacking short items also gives me more space. Use the nooks and crannies. Enjoy.

Thanks guys! i think i've configured mine now. I just don't know where to put the 35L that i'm expecting this week. you think it's ok if i put it on top of one of those lenses? i don't have an idea how big that lens is.

The 35L will probably fit in the lower right slot in your bag. Just put a small divider on top of the other lens to protect it.
