I find mums hate their pictures taken. I would love to get more pics with mum & baby. Until I can get myself a better camera I just play around with pics. I have done some casual baby pics for friends etc. Most mums never let me take their picture and avoid the camera. After much convincing I was able to get one. The picture quality is poor, (slr here i come) and the crop in the first is not so great but I loved the capture of the second one!

Any cc always appreciated.

They are really neat, and the quality isn't bad at all. Just what you've already said, the crop is a bit out, but then you won't be able to frame them the same.

I like them. :)

But one question, what is that on the boys stomach in first pic.
Almost looks like a bandage.

should have cloned that out! It is a his diaper, I swear plummer's butt starts at conception!

I actually thought it was diaper material, but didn't want to offend any growing children, that he's wearing them. ;)

this particular mum should seek the camera out, not hide from it. she's v-e-r-y attractive and photogenic.

Nice photos
....again :-)

like the pics alot. Focus seems a bit soft, but works well here.

I am still struggling with this sometimes. + it was only my second time using the timer. LMAO! These were a bit grainy to start so they are filtered too, hence the softness!
thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated!

OMG, is that you on the other side of the camera?? I didn't put that together from your original post. Then again, I'm so inattentive, I hide my own Easter eggs.

Well, all I got to say is, get the hell over to the Nature & Animals section.

...with the other foxes

Dreaming of a 350 or a 20D but currently using a A85. I usually have much better luck with it however without actually seeing what I was shooting and battle a very active 2 yr old, it proved to be a little much for me. I know thats not much of an excuse! But its all I got!

I figured I could show some of my "buds" it isn't so hard getting in front of the camera~ i prefer behind the camera rather than in front~ but this is where they should DO AS I SAY~!not as I do!

WOW! I really like the composition and the softness works well. You are a beautiful Mum. Would never believe your oldest is 14. :) :) :)

Nice shots. Would be worth cropping the dead space of the right hand side of the first one to centralise your models in the frame.

I hear that! I share the same dream!
But the A85 is a great camera as well........and you've done a good job proving it! What kind of lighting did you use and how did you get the background so 'white'??
