So my lovely girlfriend calls me today and asks me for a big favor. She works for W.M. Jordan, a big contracting firm. Well, they are looking for some shots of active older men and women from a retirement home down the street from my house. I was asked to do it! I'm excited!

I am getting my camera today after 6:15PM (damn FedEX and their having to sign for packages), and I have a new lens coming today as well from UPS, Sigma 24-70/2.8. With the Sigma and the 2 lenses listed below, what should I take with me?

Canon 50/1.8
Canon 18-55/3.5-5.6

I'm using a DRebel, no external flash. I will probably take my monopod.

I would not worry about blur as even active seniors dont move fast. LOL J/K. As I think I can assume this is not portrait work, I would bring the zooms to frame the action. I might just bring everything as you never know the lighting or other conditions you run into.

I was thinking the 24-70 and the 50

Now that would be a powerful combo!

My camera came back today, my Sigma lens came in, and the Hoya HMC UV filter came in for the lens. It's like Christmas!

P.s> This lens is huge!

It's not how big it is, it's what you do with it.

Take photo release forms.

I presume W. M. Jordan has that, but how would I set one up?
