Hi all, I'm back from my trip to Ireland and it's a wonderful place for taking pictures! I would appreciate any comments to improve my pictures. I am a beginner and I know next to nothing about shutter speed and so on so I use the automatic setting most of the time. I have tried using the other options but the pictures usually don't turn out quite as good. I use a Canon PowerShot G3.

Nice vacation shots. #2 would be much improved without the grass in the foreground.

I'll just agree with PhotosGuy. Great shots, ditch the grass and it would improve #2. Looks like a nice vacation.

Thanks Sixshot and Photosguy :) . We had a wonderful vacation and will certainly go to Ireland again.
I got rid of the twigs and grass in the foregrond of picture number two using the clone brush in PSPro and it took forever  . I hope it looks natural. Is there any other way other than the clone brush or cropping to do this?

 Hi, Photosguy...and I was so hoping there was an easier way! I couldn't get any closer when taking the shot or I certainly would have. My question is, did I get the boat house picture to look natural after working on it?
