Ok here it goes. I need a turtle. A giant turtle.

I am looking to buy a GIANT plush turtle. Something in the 4 foot to 5 foot long or tall department. Realistic isn't as important as cute.

There. That is the strangest request you will ever see on this forum. But if you have any information leading to the purchase of this turtle you will be rewarded with a personalized thank you image of the model with said wanted turtle.

Long story.

Yeah I saw some Ninja Turtles. But I don't need the costume or the copyright/trademark issues. Plus I am looking for a GIANT turtle. Not a merely gigantic turtle. My model is 5'-4". So I looking for something that is going to be almost as big as her. 48" t0 60" is the ballpark.

But thanks for the super fast response.

Burbank prop dept? Would have to be theatrical-disney on ice type source. Turtle costumes aren't popular Team mascots...

No I am not looking for a costume. Oddly enough I have a source for that. What I am looking for is a giant stuffed turtle.

You might want to look at some on-line toy stores, such as Toys R Us, FAO Schwartz, or the like. They carry stuffed animals, and if they don't carry it, they may be able to direct you to a source that does. Also, you may want to look at some organizations which work to promote turtle rescue/safety/preservation...they might have something you could use. Just a few thoughts.

I don't see you finding one in 2005. They're so 1985.

What color?

Start with a bean bag chair. Give it to your grandmother along with a bottle of good Scotch. Wait about a week... :D:D:D

Believe it or not, I had to find something like this for someone else, but it was a lion which was easier to find than a turtle.

You also didn't mention a price range...

How cute, the biggest one I could find is 51" long but kind made with kiddie colors, which I guess are cute: here (http://historical-replicas.net/28940003-turtle-giant-plush-stuffed-animal-cushions-stuffed-chairs.html)

Or this one (http://store.yahoo.com/bigstuffedanimals/36turtle.html), looks more like a turtle, but not as large, only 36".

I had prevciously found the 36" inch turtle. I may just settle for him.

I wonder of I could spray paint that giant turtle?

Thanks for all the help. Oh and BTW I clicked that damn link Carzee. I was all excited too.

I would bet you could dye it, and maybe airbrush texture it. It would have to be a light paint though, I think normal spray paint might matt the fabric, or crack if the fabric flexed.

The more I think about it, the more I think that it could deffinitely be colored if it something you wanted badly enough.

BTW, I am way to currious about this project now, please post or link some pictures for me!
