SanDisk SDDR-73 install problem.

I need some help please.

I have just bought a SanDisk SDDR-73 ImageMate card reader and rushed home to install it on my PC so I won't have to hook up my precious S45 everytime I need to download.

The two icons (for drives E: and F: since the 73 has two slots) appeared alright in the My Computer folder, but when clicked on they just did not respond and my system promptly froze. I tried un-installing and re-installing many times, but the problem persists. As a last resort, I downloaded the drive from the SanDisk website - still no luck. My OE is Windows 98.

Somebody please tell me what to do.

Problem solved :-)

Apart from the fact that I should have posted this in the "software" thread (sorry!) I discovered that there was nothing wrong with the software CD provided by SanDisk. The fault was with my Win98 which was long ovedue for re-installation. I formatted my hardisk,
re-installed windows and.....everything went like a breeze.
