At last, my trip to Germany is a fail so now looking at other options. There are a few places in Mexico that offer pretty cheap dentals.
Anyone want to tag along on my journey through the baja? I plan to leave mid next week and come back about a week and a half later. I will spend about 4-5 days in Cabo before returning back here.
I'll pay for all of the gas, we split other stuff.
PM me if interested.
Can pick you up along the way, too...

I recently picked up a LOW mileage '05 BMW R1200RT, so if you wanted to go down there on bikes that might be interesting.

Not this time, DRZ needs to much prep-work!
However, I will look into it and maybe we'll do that...

Always travel to Baja in the most common vehicle you can find: Toyota trucks, Ford trucks, Chevy trucks, etc. Parts are VERY hard to find for offbrands and you don't want to have to wait until the part comes in.
And stick to the toll road if you don't like banditos.
I used to LOVE traveling in Baja, back in the 1980s, but last time I went (2001) was my last. The place is too out of control now. You're risking your life.

There's no way you could get that repaired in Baja.
