I have a chance to buy a 200 mm F1.8 L in excellent to ex+ condition(keh standards). What do you think its worth? It has the suitcase and hood. I see mint ones pushing $4000 but this is not mint although a nice lens. I have tried some searches on this. What would you pay ? Later on, I'll tell you what he wants for the lens. thanks

If you can get it cheaper, buy it!:D

Personally I think $4000 is plain stupid for that lens. But on the other hand, if you earn your living by taking pictures that is (almost) impossible to take without it then it might be worth it.
That is the only reason I can see to buy one as they are so expensive.

FYI....The guy wants $3200 for it. I think he may take $3000.
