Increasing print sizes

I am able to print photos from my A75 (2048 x 1536) at A4 size and get a really good print using my Canon i560 printer. What I would like to know is how can I get prints up to A3 size from the same original without loss of quality?

I'd probably resize the image in Photoshop, using a bicubic sharpener, then apply a bit of sharpening.
