Hi: This is my first post but I have learned a ton surfing this forum and reading the previous posts. I'm a newbie of sorts and here is my problem. Whenever I adjust the exposure compensation in "P" mode, the camera takes three successive pictures instead of one. I am sure I am using the correct compensation bar and not the AEB bar where the camera is supposed to take three pictures. I've tried it with and without pushing the set button after making an adjustment but I always get three pictures in both the Exposure Compensation and AEB modes. Any help? Thanks

When you go to exposure control do you see three little bars under the scale? One in the middle is green and the two on each side grey? That means the bracketing is still turned on. To stop the bracketing you have to go to AEB and compress the three bars into one by using the left arrow. Another way to tell if bracketing is turned on is the icon at the left in the LCD display. The bracketing icon looks like three little squares stacked up.
