Here are a couple of my pictures from my recent trip to Egypt. I took over 1,700 pictures in two weeks and its tough finding the good ones to edit. I am new at editing so dont mind that! What do you think?

Glad to see the pics!

I think my favorite is #7, it's just the type of shot I always look for, and I think you composed it well. (Philae?) My eyes are drawn to the faces...don't know why I didn't take one like that!

#3 is a close second for me, I'm kicking myself for not getting more green contrasts in my temple shots! My best shot of the step pyramid at Sakkara would have been from the approach road, where the date palms could have framed it, but of course WE were on a tour bus and didn't have control over that!

Great capture of the Mosque of Mohammed Ali, and of course the Camel pic is a classic! (Did you have to cough up a buck or a few pounds for that one lol?) Love the low angle and getting so up close and personal.

My only comment would be that (on MY monitor anyway) the pic of the Sphinx might seem a little light? (classic capture tho!) If anybody else agrees, then it's not my monitor. It's so darn subtle, that viewing my monitor at a different angle makes a difference. If they are light, depending on what editing program you are using, playing with the black and white balance (iPhoto) or maybe even a simple color boost one notch might make a difference? Of course, it looks like you were there in the heat of the day, where the sun tends to blow out everything anyway. Tough to get contrasts in that light with all the tans. I've had similar comments made to me about some New Mexico shots I've taken.

I'm not very proficient in the editing end, and I know you want to be careful not to oversaturate, so perhaps there are some other posters out there who could add some insight as well, especially anybody with a properly calibrated monitor.

Since I'm blabbering on, I may as well say I like the lines in the Felucca shot as well (the parallel masts).

All in all, great job! Hope to see more!
