I would have linked them directly, but unfortuantely there are problems in the datacenter where my server is hosted, and quite simply, the server is going up and down quicker than a pair of whores knickers!

Just curious in the second pic, what was the red light illuminating the background from?

The red/orangey (more accurately, sodium orange glow), was coming from a street light on the corner of the T-junction I was parked up at. On a 30second exposure, I did take a few others, but some of them my focusing was well off lol! But I've only had my 400d for a couple of weeks now, so I'm still experimenting. Its my first DSLR, so I've been reading lots of threads on here :)

The first one is great!! I would like to see a version with the sign slightly dimmed, to enhance the stars more... That might look good too :)
