I like the color version.

You say you just snapped?
I think it's a great composition, the man in the middle turned to the door adds really to the picture...
The wide-angle from below really does it too...

yeah its just a snap, sat on a small coffee shop, and had a ekspresso, and the old guy came wandering from left, I turned the camera on, and shot him a few times.... i like it to, one of the best venezia pics i got. ill upload some more.

My only issue with the color version is the skin tone. If you look the skin on his neck, head and hands is nearly as warm as the wall above and to his right.

If you corrected the skin tone I'd probably like the color better, right now I prefer the mono.

I like both. But you kinda don't see the "peeling" of the building in the black and white one.

The Ponte Rialto I like.

The Bridge of Sighs is interesting, can't remember ever seeing an image of the Bridge of Sighs with trailing ( I presume gondola) lights.

I wonder how that shot would have looked with some second curtain flash, or was the distance to great ?
