I finally took all the gear out and set it up to try to get a crisp moon shot. Had camera hooked to laptop so I could micro inspect the pics and adjust focus more and more. I have several that are pretty good. This is one of them. comments welcome.

Moon looks great, really sharp. Only comments are it's perhaps a little over-exposed as it's quite blown-out around the edge. Plus I personally find it a little off-putting to have such a thick frame added to the image, with the moon so near the edge. I think you're right to put the moon nearer the top-right, as that's where I'd put it I think, but I'd go with it a bit nearer the centre. Just my own personal preference though, which I wouldn't listen to really as I'm rubbish when it comes to framing my images! ;)

I tried to reduce the exposure in camera when I was shooting it. But it seemed to be disabled without the lens attached, I used a t ring and extender. I use Mikes Framer and if i knew HOW to use it , I could have reduced it :)

I am still new to SLR photography but that is an excellent snap you have got there, sir. :)
