Sometimes they go off the page very quickly and don't get seen by everyone!

Nice photos, I like them alot!

Thanks, witchy. That brings up an interesting point: Is it proper forum etiquette to "bump" a post? I realize I just did so by replying, but what if the reply is meaningless?

I think it's proper to acknowledge someones post to your photos. If that causes a bump, oh well.

Very nice job on these. I love your lilacs, saturation, color and DOF control! I have a whole section of them that I took but none came out quite as nice as these. I don't know from nothing about flowers (I picked up from one of your other posts that you might be into them?) so I'll go put a name on the picture of the Purple Sensations I took. Thanks.

Dave,
I like that idea. Thanks, I am in to gardening. The whole hobby appeals to me on many fronts: manual labor, getting dirty, nature, and the technical nature of nomenclature keeps my mind busy trying to remember all those common and scientific names. Just, please don't ask me these, 'cao I can't remember. I think I could have done a little better with the DOF. If you look at the third flowerette from the right, the petal tip pointng at 8 o'clock is OOF. Same with a couple of others. If I had got those in focus, I'd print this at 13x19 and hang it on my wall. I'm being a little hard on myself, but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied. That was a difficult one to take in high winds, as I had to hold the stem with one hand, and hold the camera with the other. Thanks for the compliments on the other features, as I did really toil over them, not wanting to go too far...

cmM, Thanks.
