I need some feedbacks on this web site:

www.tizianobruno.com (http://www.tizianobruno.com)

I was trying to make a very direct and fast layout.
I need to know if it works fine, and if it looks good.
This is my first attempt at building a web site.

Thanks

Tiziano

You're right about this website being very direct and fast - if it is meant to be just a display of your work for personal and private use, then it works fine.

However, if you want to use it as a tool to find clients (e.g. to attract some business) then I'd recommend some text! Tell us a little bit about yourself, about your photography etc. If it is for business purposes, then I'd definitely recommend getting text in there otherwise Search Engines are going to have a really hard time finding you.

Also, just as an aside, the ads at the top are a little distracting to be honest. I'd look into getting some proper hosting if you plan on promoting your website in the future.

Needs to have a about and contact page.

1: Iiiih, the blue! It might actually remind people of the BSOD, and get them to hit the back-button in reflex. It is rather strong, and the contrast with black... no, doesn't work
2: Favicon
3: Slow
4: No header to click on to get back to the main page
5: No... content. Put some on the front page, and center it, instead of dragging it all to one side.

With Jono...if the site has not commercial "function" then it does as you desire.

Thanks to All for your useful feedbacks. This web site is just a try for now. I will soon build a more professional one, with the about and contact page, with meta tags, with a different selection of images, and and without that horrible top from the hosting service. (I wonder if there is a way to remove that, it was not in my index page).
The purpose of this test web site was to find out if I am going in the right direction, with the technology I have chosen.
Theferore, my questions are:
Do the images display correctly on all your browsers?
Does that flash player cause any issue, is anybody rejecting it and going by the HTML version?

Jonta, I find your feedback very useful. I didn't even know what a Favicon was. I'll fix that. But, you wrote that the site is slow. I thought it was pretty fast. Do you have a slow internet connection? Did you reject the flash player or what?

Thanks
Tiziano

:)

I was looking for the fastest solution available out there, as I hate slow web sites. That's why I was surprised.

Thanks

I didn't see any ads, but I run a no-ad script anyway. I agree with 'jono01'.
