The EE image viewer nicely handles the mouse right click, but in IE6 the image toolbar still appears, allowing viewers to save the image.

Is there an option to disable this?

Thanks

No answer to your solution, but just another observation.

If you choose to save the whole web page with everything, you will be able to save the photo to your local hard disk.... (together with all the other icons and various texts..)

You are correct. You can also capture the image using Print Screen, or getting at your browser's cache. But these methods require at least a little knowledge and patience.

And they don't advertise themselves by popping up on your screen!

Getting rid of the toolbar requires just one line of HTML so it would be useful.

Hey Ian,

It can be done! I managed it!

Go check out http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6920

It discusses the topic.

Essentially, you place the following meta tag in the head of your photo.php file:

For me it was line 830 ... but it tends to be different from computer to computer!

Hi - yes I know how to do it, but I would rather not be modifying the scripts if it can be made a standard option.

Cheers!
