Hi Peeps,

Went to Scotland, Edinburgh last weekend, snapped up a couple hundred so heres a couple that I have processed. Its my first time doing the fake tilt/shift thing and to me I couldn't see the 'WOW' factor in them but I thought that this maybe because I was staring at the images for too long, so your feedback is all the more important to me. Thank You very much for viewing.

They both work very well in their own way:

The first one gives a sureal look because you can see the clouds and you are more "in" the tilt shift.

The second one has a great effect, angle is good, post process is good.

Nice shots!

Very nice work, the first image reminds me of the work of Vincent Laforet. check out his aerials: Vincentlaforet.com

Hey guys sorry for the late reply been really busy recently. Thank you both for your feedback it is much appreciated.

@ masterwillems - I wasnt too sure about that first one but I have had a little break from looking at it and now I can see how it kind of works. Thank you for your comments.

@ Blueskies505 - Thank you for the referrence, I checked the website out and I see how you could relate my work to he's. The images are outstanding from Laforet so I will be keeping my eye on him from here on. Thanks again for your comments.

Totally effective. You emulated the tilt-shift effect very well.

I think you nailed the technique on the second one. The blurred sky in the first one sort of wrecks the effect, although it looks good in the lower left.

I'd love to pull one of these off. Suppose I'll have to try it in order to achieve that, though...
