As I've said before, this is an eerie and mysterious place. Mixture of beauty, dereliction and desolation...

Yes, that is a nuclear power station behind the green hut....

I really like the first two images - the third has no foreground detail and the forth is nice but it would possibly have been nicer if you had included the power station into the picture. Have seen how they work in B&W?

Good work

Good stuff.
These shots bring back a lot of memories. I used to visit 'Dunge' a lot birdwatching. Either sitting in an RSPB hide, wondering if the roof was going to come off or, if I was REALLY brave, I'd sit on the beach, holding on to the anchor rope of a boat

The area off the power station was very good for birds.

Is it still known as 'The ar**-end of Kent?'

I would have preferred the fourth one with the building to the left and the car and pylon to the right PS'd out of the picture, leaving the shed on its own.

You're right about that - I only left the building in because it is actually a nuclear power station (although this is not apparent iin the shot). I will rework the image to have shed only...

If you're up here long enough, there are a couple of places you could try and get to. Glen Affric is not far from Inverness, and is a lovely area. Also Torridon, the mountains are really imposing and there are some waterfalls around there that are quite photogenic.

The Applecross Peninsula is absolutely stunning, particularly the Pass of the Cattle (Bealach Na Ba), a must if you can manage it! :D :D

Either way, have a lovely time ;)
