I photograph our area high school football, volleyball and softball teams (three high schools) and then offer the pics on-line for the parents to purchase.

Last year I started offering end of the season sports posters which are collages of the best shots of particular athletes from my data base of images (I usually have about 5,000 plus images by season end). The parents loved these and I sold a ton of these for around $100 each for both Xmas and graduation gifts.

Here's the link to my site.

If you want to take a look at my sample posters from last year, just click on either the Football Sports Posters or the Volleyball Sports Posters. This year I announced I'm going to do them on a first come first served basis due to the expected volume and I've had a ton of orders already.

Comments welcome.

Thanks, I came back to see if anyone had used the new Canon 7D yet for sports shooting. Last year I upgraded from the 40D to the 50D and saw a great improvement in the noise reduction. It sounds like the 7D will be a comparable, or even better improvement. With night football games and bad lighting in volleyball arenas, this is a great help.

I can't wait to try it in the cave that I have to shoot volleyball and basketball in and flash is not allowed. Football should also be improved.

I'm thinking of going to a football game in a different town to get familiar with the 7D before using it at a game that means something to me.

Any suggestions on tutorials for building sports posters. Really love the posters I see on this site and would love to pick up the necessary skills.
