420ex slave

Hello,

I've got some studio strobes and I'd like to use my new 420ex as a slave to backlight a portrait session tomorrow.

Have you got any advice how this can work? I can't seem to get the 420ex to fire when I fire the strobes.

Tell us how you are attempting to get it to fire. For example, are you connecting sync cables? Are you coupling via Canon wiresless flash system? Are you coupling via optical slaving?
