Do you think this pic works? My first time trying something like this. I shot it as two separate pics and then merged them in Picture Window Pro. Then enhanced the colours etc to get an advertising-shot type look...

Here is the home 'studio' I used to shoot the above pic. Background is an old movie poster turned upside down and draped over a sofa. Didn't need flash, just used the natural light (well, it is a lightbulb :) )

get an advertising-shot type look... You even left room for type! ;-) Otherwise I'd suggest that you & crop in some. I'd rotate the bulb counter clockwise just a tiny bit. Nice shot though!

I have to agree with FrankC (even though he is from the Colonies :D ) but I like what you have done, great manipulation and thought in a fantastic studio - a bit like my own!!!! LOL

Perhaps you could try making it into an advert?
Add some coloured bulbs too?
