They are all nice, especially the palm trees. I also like the composition of the 2nd lighthouse shot, but I think it's a little underexposed. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice late sun in the palms and the grass too. Is the second one using the WA zoom at 24mm?

As per the other comments here, I like them all, particularly the palm tree image :D

Yes, that is at 24mm. That is really a great lens, and one you don't hear people discussing too much. It pairs up nicely with the 70-200 f/4 from a focal length perspective and additionally, they use the same 67mm filter size.

Love the palm tree shot, the first lighthouse is "leaning" it bugs me even if that's the way it really was. I have a tendence to screw up my horizon so I'm particularly obsessed by this at the moment.

It's actually perfectly straight, but I think the windows on the left side create the illusion that it's off kilter a bit.

Morris Island IS leaning. Thats why people are trying to save it.

yeah, I know, I meant in the image it's straight up. Thanks for the clarification though. Cool to see a fellow Charlestonian here!

Call me "professional nitpicker" :D but in #1 is the lighthouse that is bent towards right or is the horizon line that is not perfectly straight ? Or is just a matter of light ?
Beside this, I really like them all, but #4 is the best one, IMHO.
Edited to add: I answered at the original post without reading the thread... the lighhouse is actually leaning, so nothing to do about it. I'm a little obssessed with horizonz myself, as someone else :D

It's the light that is leaning, not the pic. Having the same problem of horizons not being level, I too look hard at pic's. Mike's work is accurate and very good!

No, it's definitely at an angle compared to the left border.
