Extract of GALLERY INDEX page

Hi Pekka,

I just want to design my homepage the same way as the EE GALLERY INDEX page.

My idea is to create an index.php with header, footer and (!) the important thing, the News-Section out of EE. The rest of the page I want to fill with snippets.php :-) and leftsided buttons.

I saw that the responsible php have to be the 1.php - but this is the child of index.php - so a simple code reduction wouldn't be the solution.

Perhaps you can help.
