my best attempt at capturing a 3month old.

so this weekend i shot my best friend's daughter....i wanted to shoot her within the first week after she was born, but somehow i couldnt get my hands till now when she is almost 3 months.....the previous baby shoots ive had were in that same age range and is never easy, its by far the most frustrating thing to do....nearly impossible to pose them, hard tyo get their attention, they cry more than they smile....but i manage to get these shots....

cute baby! i think the photos are nice, but i feel like there is something off with the post process. or maybe i'm just looking at them too closely because they are larger on the screen.

they seem a bit grainy unless that is what you were going for...that's my only complaint.

also,i wish there was one inbetween the first and the second. the first is too close for me and the second is too far away (although i get why you put the entire pillow thing in there, its cute!)

thanx joana, i rearranged them, the noise on the first two was intended, i was trying something new...lol...thanx for commenting, i couldnt believe after 66 view no one had anything to say....i was worried.

no problem! i get discouraged too when i see high page views but no comments!

when i was in college, critiques killed me because i ALWAYS had to say something about the photos that were up. my friend and i used to joke about the difference in our class participation. she always broughts lots of photos to class and then was quiet during critiques and i often brought the minimum amount and talked non-stop!

Focus on #4 looks to be on the front of the beanbag thing and not on her face

I like #2 and #3, I personally would have framed them differently, but they're nice shots :)
