Male nude calender shots?

Hi
I shoot for my local football team (adults 18-30), and as a fund raiser for our new floodlights, we've been kicking around the idea of doing a male nude calender. You know, 'calender girls' kind of thing, no naughty bits on show.
All the players are dead keen, when you get 20 or so alpha males together they don't take much encouragement to get their kit off! :lol:

Wondered if you guys could give me a few pointers please? I understand that shooting skin tones is going to be madly different from sports, so where do I start? I've got a few ideas on poses, in the shower, in the dug out, changing room, undoubtedly the ubiquotus ball in the right place shot :). I've got access to 2 studio lights, a flashgun 420EX, couple of reflectors (5in1's 31 and 42 inch). Was going to shoot with my 1D3 and 24-105 or 70-200, in RAW, tehtered so we can see the results.

Past that, what's best?

Mike,
Meter the lights seperately to get the ratio you want, and make sure you WB properly. A grey card will do. Good luck!

Thanks Alex. I was going to shoot RAW so that I can tweak the WB in PP. Not sure what you mean by metering the lights separately though? (bear in mind I've never used this kind of thing before)
