Ok, I spent an unproductive day searching for a bag that I knew had to exist but was as rare as POTN photographer who hadn't posted a duck picture on the forum. Then, just messing around on Ebay, I googled the manufacturer of a similar style and...

This is it. Well, not "IT", but it is the style I have been looking for. A messenger style, single-strap, cross-body sling bag.

Anyone know of another manufacturer that makes one? The one on the site link above isn't big enough for my gear (well, I could stash stuff in the unpadded upper section, but would prefer not to.

[Edit] Tamrac has a similar style bag the Velocity 9, big enough for my gear though it looks a little unwieldy. Anyone ever try one of the Velocity (5, 7 9) bags?

Tamrac velocity 9 is big enough for my gear (see below) as well as a flash and lots of small stuff. The 70-200 f4 is smaller than my lens, your kit may fit in the Tamrac 7.

The Tamrac velocity 7 and 9 bags are cleverly designed - you can rotate it around from your back to front and get at gear without taking off the strap. I'm not sure you could do that with the bag you cited.

Thanks for the tip! I may just buy one and hope for the best.
