I've found that for me, when I see a photo on the internet that also has the EXIF data, that it surely is an amazing learning tool...
But with the exception of "pbase.com", I don't know where else I can find this valuable information on the internet.
If anyone knows where I can find this info, I'd be very appreciative...
thanks...

EXIF data is imbedded in the image files themselves, unless the photographer strips it out. Do a Google for "EXIF Viewer", there are plenty of them, implemented as add-ons to your web browser. Typically the operate by you right clicking on the image and then displaying the EXIF. Very handy, as you've seen.

EXIF Viewer for Firefox.
Flickr displays exif data if it is left intact by the uploader.

Try Opanda Exif Viewer.. it install into your cpu so that you can right click on any file anywhere and view the exif data if it is available.. don't limit yourself to the "firefox" plug in.. besides the new firefox is garbage..

Firefox works fine for me since I switched back from IE7. Maybe Eric Norris needs to stop installing crap into his CPU.

Been trying to find EXIF software stuff lately.
I have looked at Opanda Exif viewer also which seems to not support Canon in regards to the number of shutter actuations count. Lots of other stuff showed up though.
Where I bought the camera, he has the Opanda viewer. I wanted to look for shutter actuations on it. It did not show up with Canon.
We then did Nikon, and it did show the number of shutter actuations.
Is anybody familiar with Opanda, and getting shutter actuations with Canon cameras?
Thanks for any info.

For most of them it's not stored in the exif.

I'm interested in why you should want to hide the exif?

For most of them it's not stored in the exif.
For the most part then, most shutter actuations are not stored in any of the exif software?
Opand does have some of the Nikon shutter actuations though as I found out.
What exif software does actually cover canon exif shutter actuations then?
I am new to all this kind of software and just trying to get a lid on where/how I could go about getting shutter actuations at times when I want them.
Thanks

None - because that data isn't stored anywhere in the exif. It's impossible for any software to read the data if the data doesn't exist.

I am looking at Canon only. It did not show on Opanda, it did show on Nikon on Opanda. Opanda seems to be Nikon orientated with being able to show shutter actuations on certain Nikon cameras.
So then, am I right to assume that there is no data stored on my Canon camera concerning shutter actuations in efix?
Yes, if data doesn't exist I understand that.
Thanks again
