This is my beautiful daughter, who is 4.
It was my first attempt at a portrait shot using my interfit 2 head kit. I had to make do with a plain wall as my background set up ain't arrived yet!
I also messed around with the pp to get the doll faced looked. I know it isnt to all peoples tastes, but it is my first real attempt.
All comments gratefully received.
Cheers in advance
Don

I think it's delightful and she's gorgeous!! Great Job!! My only CC is there si a teeny colorcast. Blue or Cyan and maybe even a bit of magenta (you'll just need to play a bit, are you on a calibrated monitor?). It could also use a teeny boost in curves.

Many thanks for your comments, they are really appreciated! To be perfectly honest, my monitor is on its last legs and is a little useless! I will look in to the curves and rectify that!
Cheers again

I think it is an adorable photo!! But like the 1st poster said, something is off with the color, it looks overly pink to me, but hey, at least that is something that can be fixed in PP!!!!! So great job!

For me, You should convert the photo from Adobe RGB to sRGB color space before you upload to the web.
It's easy to compare the photo you post here and the one in your computer. The color much be different. And you have to convert to sRGB before you sent them for print also. Because most of printer use sRGB color space.
You can read more about the difference between Adobe RGB and sRGB here

I always set my camera to sRGB.

Hi Don. I have a little daughter also, and got a whole light setup to do portraits.
She is very very cute. the image is nice. suggestions.
1. Buy a whibal. its a white balance card, and its critical to get rid of the color cast.
2. I think you can tone down your fill light a touch. for my taste, I would like a little more shadows to show more directinality.
3. Not a fan of the post processing, but thats a matter of taste. Over all like the image.
